Cloud Cost Audit
Two weeks inside your AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud bill: an itemized waste report and a savings plan sequenced by effort.
What you get
- An itemized waste reportIdle and orphaned resources, oversized instances, unattached storage, forgotten environments, each with its monthly cost attached.
- Rightsizing findings with evidenceRecommendations tied to actual utilization history, not a tool default that assumes every workload is average.
- Commitment coverage analysisWhere reserved instances or savings plans would pay, where they would trap you, and what your current coverage misses.
- Storage tiering and egress reviewThe quiet line items: logs kept hot forever, snapshots nobody deletes, traffic paths that bill twice.
- A savings plan sequenced by effortQuick deletions first, rightsizing second, architectural changes last, so finance sees movement in week one of execution.
What we need from you
- Read-only billing and inventory access (Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or GCP billing export).
- An hour with whoever owns the environment, so we know which "idle" systems are actually load-bearing.
- Any existing tagging convention, however aspirational.
Timeline
Access, inventory, and utilization collection. Obvious waste gets flagged as we find it.
Analysis, commitment modeling, and the written savings plan with a live walkthrough.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
- The cloud bill grew faster than the business and nobody can explain the delta.
- Finance is asking questions the dashboard cannot answer.
- You are pre-committing to reservations and want the numbers checked first.
- Your monthly spend is small enough that an afternoon of cleanup covers it. We will tell you that on the scope call.
- You want someone to promise a percentage before seeing the bill. We put numbers on findings, not on hope.

Common questions
Do you make the changes, or just recommend them?
The audit delivers the plan; execution is a separate, usually short, engagement, and much of the quick-win list is deliberately simple enough for your own team to run the same week.
Do you cover multiple clouds?
AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. One primary cloud per audit is typical; a second footprint can be added on the scope call if the spend justifies it.
How much will we save?
We do not promise a percentage before seeing the bill; that is a sales trick, not analysis. What we will do on the fifteen-minute scope call is tell you honestly whether the audit looks likely to pay for itself, and decline the engagement if it does not.
What access do you need?
Read-only billing and inventory access: Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or a GCP billing export, plus resource listing. No workload access and no changes.
